NY HOPE — Town board approves new tandem truck, appoints assessor. The Board of Hope voted unanimously on eight resolutions, including approval of the new tandem truck purchase for the Highway Department and the appointment of Jonathan Abbott as Town Assessor, along with budget adjustments and the 2025 Justice Court Audit. Highway Superintendent Zachery Colson reported the department's equipment has held up well through recent snowfalls and is accepting snow bank removal requests at 518-924-2662.
Town Clerk Robin Wilson reported tax collection is progressing well, and the board will draft a new snow removal policy based on guidance from Hamilton County.
